Duplicate title tags: fix the title generator
Two different articles can inherit the same template title. I would compare their content before changing a canonical: a title collision can be repaired without consolidating either document.

Two different pages can inherit “Services | Example” from the same template. I would change the audit page to “Technical SEO Audits | Example” and the migration page to “Website Migration Reviews | Example,” keeping both pages’ own canonical URLs because their content differs.
Method & limits
The retained source sample is dated July 16, 2026; the worked canonical/Open Graph case is illustrative and dated October 22. Google’s canonical guidance and RFC 6596 were checked October 25, 2026 for content equivalence and the limits of graph agreement. Other guidance retains its July 19 and October 16 cutoffs. No site-wide graph, delivered repair, Google-selected canonical or ranking outcome was newly measured; code and examples remain design methods.
The emitted titles expose the collision
The collision begins in the shared service template. A fallback title can conceal different substantive pages even when both canonical URLs are correct.
I would request both pages directly and navigate between them after deployment, because a page can arrive at the right URL while the old title survives in the rendered head even when its own initial response supplies the correct title. A test that checks only the destination URL would miss the template collision.
