From first discussion to introduction

How the referral process works.

Describe your archive, explore a potential route and choose whether to make an introduction. Any later sample or license is a separate decision.

1

Find the fit.

Tell us what records your business keeps. We start with categories, systems and date ranges—not the records themselves.

What this step covers
  • Record categories and source systems
  • Retained history and approximate volume
  • Known permissions, restrictions and decision-maker
2

Choose a route.

We review potential licensing routes, the open questions, and the effort involved. You decide whether an introduction is worth exploring.

What this step covers
  • Possible program criteria and open questions
  • The information and effort a next step may require
  • A decision on whether to explore an introduction
3

Approve the introduction.

We agree on a named recipient and the exact information to share. Any potential referral compensation is disclosed before the handoff.

What this step covers
  • A named recipient and the exact approved details
  • Disclosure of potential referral compensation
  • A distinct permission record before the handoff
4

Decide what comes next.

We coordinate the handoff. You and the receiving program review any data scope, handling arrangements and licensing terms separately.

What this step covers
  • Introduction and attribution coordination
  • Separate review of any records, scope and terms
  • Your choice on whether to continue

Your permission is specific

You approve each next step.

An inquiry allows a conversation about potential fit. It does not authorize contacting a program on your behalf or sharing your records.

Approve the recipient and details.

Before an introduction, agree on the named program and exactly which company information may be shared.

Keep later data handling separate.

Any sample, export, access or license needs its own scope, permissions and review with the receiving program.

Understand our compensation.

No upfront seller referral fee. VOID may be paid by a receiving program under its conditions. We disclose applicable compensation before the handoff.

Before you begin

A few useful answers.

What does VOID actually do?

We help business owners explore whether their operational records could fit an AI data licensing opportunity. Our initial service covers fit discovery, a potential program route, a permissioned introduction and coordination of the handoff.

Does the referral service cost us anything upfront?

There is no upfront seller fee for our referral service. VOID may receive a payment from a receiving program if its conditions are met. We disclose the applicable compensation before an introduction. Any broader advisory or representation work would require a separate agreement.

Do I need to upload or connect my data?

No. The first conversation uses descriptions and ranges: record types, systems, history and approximate volume. We do not need exports, screenshots, credentials or customer records. A later sample or transfer needs a separate scope and approval.

What kind of business is a good starting point?

Established businesses with retained operational history are worth an initial conversation. Some public programs look for 20 or more full-time employees and at least three years in operation; others set different criteria. Current size, peak workforce, record quality, location and permissions all affect the route.

How much could our data be worth?

A value estimate depends on the actual records, permitted uses, buyer demand and eventual terms. Our earnings calculator models hypothetical offers and costs; it is not an appraisal or a guarantee. Published program ranges are conditional and belong to those programs. Establishing potential fit comes first.

Who controls the records and the decision?

Your business chooses whether to proceed. An inquiry does not authorize a named referral, a transfer or a license. The appropriate decision-maker must approve the recipient and information for each introduction, then review any later agreement and data handling separately.

Can we approach a program directly?

Yes. Our value is helping you assess a relevant route, prepare a clear introduction and follow through. You are free to explore public programs directly; our referral service does not require exclusivity.
